About me
Dr Caroline Murphy
B.DENT.SC (TCD)| DPCD (RCSI)| MFD (RCSI)
Dr Caroline Murphy is a dentist and the founder of Dr Caroline Aesthetics. A graduate of Trinity College Dublin, Caroline qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Science and has continued to pursue postgraduate education throughout her clinical career. She subsequently completed the Diploma of Primary Care Dentistry and attained Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry (MFD) with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Caroline is registered with the Dental Council of Ireland and is a member of the Irish Dental Association (IDA), and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). With a strong interest in facial aesthetics and an in-depth understanding of facial anatomy developed through her dental training, Caroline has undertaken further postgraduate training in facial aesthetic treatments across Ireland and the UK. She is committed to continuing professional development and regularly undertakes further education and training to refine her knowledge, techniques and approach to patient care. At Dr Caroline Aesthetics, Caroline believes that aesthetic treatment should be personal, considered and never one-size-fits-all. Every treatment begins with a careful consultation and an individualised plan, with an emphasis on subtle, natural-looking results that respect each patient's unique features. Her aim is simple: to help her patients feel confident and refreshed, while still looking like themselves.

My philosophy
My approach to treatment
Every treatment starts with a conversation. I take time to understand what you would like to change, assess your face as a whole and explain your options honestly, including when less is more or when treatment is not right for you. My aim is natural-looking results that keep you looking like yourself, refreshed rather than changed.

Select a treatment to read what it involves and common questions.
01Anti-wrinkle7 optionsFrom €180
Anti-wrinkle injections relax the muscles that cause expression lines, softening lines on the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes. The same treatment can also be used for a gummy smile or for jaw clenching and teeth grinding.
What’s involved
After a consultation and facial assessment, small amounts of product are placed with a very fine needle. Treatment usually takes 10 to 15 minutes. Results begin to appear after a few days and settle fully at around two weeks.
Frequently asked questions
- Does it hurt?
- Most people describe a brief pinch. The needle is very fine and treatment is quick.
- How long does it last?
- Results typically last three to four months, varying from person to person.
- Is there any downtime?
- You can usually return to normal activities straight away. Avoid strenuous exercise, lying flat and rubbing the area for the rest of the day.
02Dermal filler3 optionsFrom €300
Dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in the skin, to restore volume, support structure and refine areas such as the lips, cheeks and jawline.
What’s involved
Your treatment plan is agreed at consultation. Filler is placed with a fine needle or cannula, often with anaesthetic in the product for comfort. Results are visible straight away and settle over two weeks.
Frequently asked questions
- How long does filler last?
- Depending on the area and product, results usually last six to eighteen months.
- Will I swell or bruise?
- Some swelling and bruising is common for a few days, particularly with lip filler.
- Can filler be reversed?
- Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved if needed.
03Skin Rejuvenation (Profhilo)2 optionsFrom €300
Profhilo is an injectable skin booster made of pure hyaluronic acid. It hydrates and improves skin quality, firmness and glow rather than adding volume.
What’s involved
A course is usually two sessions four weeks apart. A small number of injection points are used on each side of the face or neck, and each session takes around 15 minutes.
Frequently asked questions
- When will I see results?
- Skin often looks more hydrated within a few weeks, with improvement continuing after the second session.
- Will it change my face shape?
- No. Profhilo improves skin quality and does not add volume.
- Is there downtime?
- Small bumps at injection points usually settle within 24 hours.
